Our Mission

The Chapeau Agricultural Society is proud to announce the opening of the Chapeau Farmers’ Market. We are deeply committed to supporting our local farmers, merchants, and artisans—the heart and soul of our community. Our mission is to create a vibrant, welcoming space where people can come together to discover fresh, locally grown produce, handcrafted goods, and unique creations that reflect the talent and passion of our region.

More than just a place to shop, the market is a community gathering space—a hub for connection, creativity, and celebration. Whether you're picking up ingredients for dinner, browsing handmade pottery, enjoying live music, or chatting with neighbors over a cup of locally roasted coffee, every visit is an opportunity to support local and experience the richness of our shared culture.

We proudly collaborate with more than 12 local merchants, each bringing their own unique flavor, craft, and passion to the Chapeau Farmers' Market. From fresh produce and homemade preserves to handcrafted pottery, baked goods, and artisan textiles, our vendors offer a wide variety of products that reflect the richness and creativity of our community.

These merchants are more than just sellers—they’re growers, makers, and storytellers who pour their heart into every item they bring to market. Whether you're looking for organic vegetables, small-batch jams, hand-knit accessories, or locally roasted coffee, you'll find something special at every stall.

By supporting these merchants, you're not only purchasing high-quality, locally made goods—you're also investing in the local economy, sustainable practices, and the spirit of community that makes our market thrive.
